I.Equipment Introduction
The PC-PMMA sheet extrusion machine is specifically developed for optical-grade sheets with high light transmittance, high hardness, and impact resistance. It can produce:
• Single-layer: pure PC or pure PMMA;
• Double-layer: PMMA/PC;
• Triple-layer: PMMA/PC/PMMA "sandwich" structure.
The finished product has a light transmittance of ≥ 91%, a haze of ≤ 0.3%, and a surface pencil hardness of 3-6 H. It is widely used in mobile phone covers, vehicle central control panels, instrument panels, LED light guides, protective masks, sun lenses, and more.
II. Advantages
Raw Material Pretreatment
• Vacuum Dust Removal and Loading: Class 1000 clean pipeline transportation reduces dust pollution.
Extrusion System
• Dedicated Screw: Designed for the high viscosity of PC and the brittle nature of PMMA, with an L/D of 36-38 and a melt temperature uniformity of ±1°C.
• Precision Melt Pump: Positive displacement gear pump with a pressure fluctuation of ≤ ±0.2 MPa, ensuring consistent material discharge from the die. • Coextrusion distributor: Modular A/B/A or A/B configuration, with online adjustable layer thickness ratio from 5-95%.
Die and calendering
• T-Die :Widths 600-2600 mm, die lip thermal compensation bolt zone control, thickness tolerance ±2%.
• Oblique three-roll calender/casting unit: Mirror rollers Φ500-600 mm, oil temperature ±1°C; switchable steel, rubber, and micro-structured rollers to achieve mirror, matte, and prismatic finishes.
• Vacuum chamber + precision pull-off: Vacuum level 0.03-0.06 MPa, servo pull-off speed 0.5-15 m/min, closed-loop tension ±1 N.
