I. Equipment Introduction
The PVC Yarn Coating Line is a complete set of equipment that continuously extrudes high-strength yarns, such as polyester, aramid, glass fiber, or ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber, onto a surface layer of PVC (or modified PVC) with a thickness of 0.1–1.5 mm. The resulting "core-skin composite yarn" combines the high strength and low elongation of the core material with the weather resistance, flame retardancy, chemical resistance, and easy dyeing properties of PVC. It is a core raw material for high-end products such as Christmas tree needles, sunshade netting, carpet backing, cable filling, insect repellent netting, and pet leashes.
II. Core Process
Extrusion Coating
• Main Unit: SJ-55/30 or SJ-65/30 single-screw extruder, 38CrMoAlA nitrided screw, melt temperature 160–175°C.
• Die Head: Cross-shaped coating die, concentricity ≤ 0.02 mm, with simultaneous coating of two yarns per die. Vacuum Sizing & Cooling
• 4–5 m water tank + eddy current cooling
Traction & Constant Tension
• Dual-wheel servo traction, swing arm tension closed loop ±1%.
Rewinding
• Dual-station automatic rewinding with automatic roll change, automatic meter counting, and wire break alarm.
