I. Introduction
This PP/PE thick sheet extrusion line is specifically designed for producing thick, solid polymer sheets with thicknesses ranging from 20-60 mm and widths ranging from 750-2600 mm. It is the preferred equipment for heavy-duty applications such as chemical corrosion protection, environmental protection equipment, ice hockey rink wallboards, food cutting boards, and building formwork.
II. Unit Configuration and Functional Highlights
Raw Material Pretreatment
• Large-capacity hot air dryer + molecular sieve dehumidification: Prevents moisture from causing internal blistering in the thick sheets.
• Loss-in-weight multi-component feeding: Real-time proportioning of virgin, recycled, and masterbatch materials with an accuracy of ±0.3%.
Extrusion System
• Large-diameter single-screw extruders: SJ150, SJ170, and SJ200, with L/D of 35-36 and screw torque ratings of ≥11 T/A³.
• Dual-station screen changer: Filter area ≥Φ250 mm, pressure resistance of 50 MPa, and screen change time of <2 minutes. • Hanger-style die head: Built-in melt pump + temperature compensation rod ensures thickness tolerance ≤±0.1 mm at a width of 2600 mm.
Forming and Cooling
• Ultra-heavy-duty three-roll calender: Roller diameter Φ500-650 mm, wall thickness 60 mm, double-layer spiral flow channel, hot oil temperature control ±1°C; upgradeable to a five-roll structure, achieving "hot-warm-cold" gradient shaping to eliminate internal stress.
• Vacuum box + crawler tractor: Vacuum negative pressure 0.03-0.06 MPa, with online adjustable crawler pressure to prevent sagging and deformation of 60 mm thick plates.
• Multiple sets of cooling rollers: Three-stage slow cooling (70°C → 60°C → 50°C) to release residual stress and ensure overall plate flatness ≤2 mm/2 m. Precision Cutting and Stacking
• Servo Planetary Saw: Cutting lengths can be set from 500-6000 mm, with end face verticality ≤0.5 mm;
• Automatic Pallet Stacking: Combined with a robotic arm, enables unmanned production.
